Elisa Volpi, Ph.D.
I am an Assistant Professor of Political Science at Franklin University Switzerland in Lugano.
Before joining Franklin, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the University of Geneva (Switzerland) working for the SNF project "Inequality in the Mind". I also coordinated the doctoral program in political science for Western Switzerland (CUSO).
I received my Ph.D. from the European University Institute (Florence, Italy) in 2019. My dissertation was awarded the 2020 ECPR Jean Blondel Ph.D. prize.
My research focuses on political elites, legislative behaviour, party politics, and economic inequality.
